About Us

This site arose out of the life and ministry of Altrincham Baptist Church in Cheshire, England. Over a period of years we have sought to develop innovative ministries such as First Sunday (Seeker Service), Workout (our own equivalent to Alpha) and Foundations (for New Christians). To facilitate this we have developed our own in-house material. The Digital Disciple web site is one of the means by which we would like to make these resources more widely available, both within our own fellowship and beyond.

We would welcome constructive feedback on what you find here, particularly if you have used any of the material on this site in a local church or small group setting.

It should be noted, however, that the views expressed are those of the individual authors and should not be taken as representing the official position of Altrincham Baptist Church. The members of our Church have experience of a broad range of Christian traditions and understandings and, while agreeing to affirm the central historic truths of the Christian faith, we would also seek to encourage the expression of our unity in diversity in the belief that together we have much to learn from one another.
